Poinsettia Coaster and Matching Candle... Day 17 of 20 Days/ 20 Cards...More to Share

I just couldn't wait to show you what I have come up with using none other than the Joyful Christmas stamp set. Yes, it's another Poinsettia but I think you will like it.

I made four coasters out of Ceramic Tiles. I will share a tutorial on the candle and tiles at a later date.

Day 17 of 20 Days/ 20 Cards. My card for today is nontraditional colors but one of my favorites.  Rich Razzleberry.

I used Whisper White, Brushed Gold, and Rich Razzleberry card stock. Rich Razzleberry Classic Stampin' Pad, Best of Snow stamp set, Basic Rhinestones.  I used Stampin' Dimensionals to make the "Let It Snow" sentiment pop. I really like the Gold and the Razzleberry colors together.

I have been working with the Simply Pressed Clay from Stampin' Up! At Halloween I made a pumpkin, ghost, and a spider. This time I made a snow family all ready to throw snowballs.

The Simply Pressed Clay is a lot of fun to play with. It's very soft and air dries. I used Stampin' Up! Classic Ink Refills.
I wore plastic gloves and used 4 or 5 drops of color in the white clay and worked it together until I had the color I wanted. I first formed all the snow people and then colored their hats, scarfs, noses and buttons and dots for their faces.
Colors for the snow people: Real Red, Garden Green, Tangerine Tango,  and Basic Black.

I made some candy canes; some blue and white and others red and white. Our tree this year is blue, white, silver and gold. That's how I got started making candy canes. I wanted blue and white for our tree.

Colors for the candy canes; Tempting Turquoise and Real Red.

The candy canes were easy to form. I rolled out a snake like piece of white and then red. I wrapped the red piece around the white. When the candy canes dried they look and feel like marshmallows.
