Day 19 of 20 Days/ 20 Cards...Blog Candy Give-A-Way

I'm excited to show you a very different card today and announce  my Mega Blog Candy Give-A-Way! The card is called a Double Pocket Card because it actually has 2 pockets so you can insert a gift card, book mark or just a note. The card is made with one sheets of 8 1/2" x 11" Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper. Our DSP is double-sided so this works out great for my card today.

I started with a 12" x 12" piece of designer series paper. I trimmed it to 8 1/2" x 11". I used the Simply Scored Scoring Tool to score my designer series paper. I started at the 8 1/2" side and scored it at 4 1/4"; turned the paper at the 11" side and scored at 5 1/2". I then got out my Simply Scored Diagonal Plate and again put the paper at the 8 1/2" side and scored at
4 1/4"; turned the paper 180 degrees and scored again at 4 1/4"

Using my bone folder I creased all the score lines and folded the paper in half and scored again. The above photo shows the inside of the card after I have folded all the score lines.

I used the Eyelet Border Punch, now retired and adhered a piece to the inside of each pocket.
I used the Chalk Talk Framelit for the tags. Decorative Label, Scallop Oval and Extra-large Oval Punches were used for the tags. Cherry Cobbler Binding Seam ribbon, 1/4" Whisper White Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, White and Red and White Bakers Twin were used on all the tags.
Stamp Sets included Christmas Messages, Tag It, and Very Merry Tags. Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, and Gumball Green card stock as well at Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green and Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Ink was used for the tags. To decorate the tags, I used Rhinestone Basic and colored two large Rhinestone's with a Red Sharpie Marker for the inside of the card. Red and Champagne Glimmer Paper were added for a little bling.

Hugs, Laura PS...I did finish and mail almost 100 Christmas cards. They are a very simple design. I hope to make a few more cards that have more detail--for some stamping friends!
