Good afternoon Stampers! Today we are decorating our house inside and out. Tree is up but not decorated yet. Hubby is working on the lights for our 4' outside wreath. I don't think we will complete the decorating today but I feel good that everything we need is upstairs from the basement.
Now for today's card. This card is so cute and again has Glimmer! I saw a video from Connie Stewart's blog on how to put this card together. Here is what I have done.
I love this idea! Clean and Crisps
Using all one color for the stars is beautiful too. All white stars is very classy and sharp looking
I absolutely love the red and green together |
You know me by now, if I really like a project I have to make more than one. I can't stop at one...
Products Used To Make This Card
Whisper White and Garden Green card stock
Red, Sliver, and Champagne Glimmer Paper
1/2" Circle Punch
Tree Punch from the Mini Trio Punch Pack
Stampin' Dimensionals
Paper Snips
Card base in Whisper White cut 4 1/4" x 11"; fold in half
Punch 15 colors of one shape...set aside
Punch 7 colors of same shape or a different shape
Turn shapes over and cut small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals and peal off protective sheet and adhere to back of all shapes. Before you start with the circles, stamp you sentiment at the top of your card. This way if you make a mistake while stamping, your card won't be wasted.
Starting at about 1/2" from bottom of card on the left hand side, place first circle...don't press down yet until you have all six circles in the bottom row. I exchanged a different color for one or two in the bottom row. After the circles look evenly placed press down to adhere to card.
Second row, place circle in between the first and second circle using the bottom row as a guide. You will do this until you have used all your shapes. I punched a star out to place at the very top of the "tree".
Until next time...Happy Stampin'!
