One of a Kind Cards

Good Morning! Today I am posting from my computer instead of my iPad. My computer has been down since the end of July. I had to have a new hard drive and mother board installed.  Fortunately, I had an extended warrenty, but it took 3 different techs 3 different times to come to the house to finally get it up and going again.

I love my iPad but it does take some getting use to. It seems it requires an App for just about every transaction. That's the nature of the iPad. I didn't realize that until I have purchased it and had it home. I will still use it, but boy am I every happy to have my computer back!
Okay on with what I have to show you...
I have made two "One Of A Kind" cards. These cards took a lot of planning and extra time to put them together.
I won't be making more than one per card. I hope you will enjoy them.

Halloween Treats

Over the week end I was busy playing with my Halloween and Christmas stamps. Don't you love it when you have a few spare hours to stamp? Well, that's just what I did on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

I made my yearly Halloween tree; using most of my decorations from last year.

My husband brought in a couple of small twigs from our yard and I Recycled a glass bottle and used some of the brown packing paper that comes with our Stampin' Up! Orders. I held the paper in place with a rubber band and tied a bow using Orchard Harvest Designer Fabric from the Holiday Catalog.

Can you see the spider webs? I made these using my hot glue gun. It happened by mistake. I was gluing the leaves on the branches and I continued to get glue strings. Then it dawned on me....why fight it? ..leave the strings on as spider webs! I added my idea of a spider toward the bow on the bottle. This is such a fun project!

Each Halloween season I make some Halloween pictures. I've had this four section frame for several years. When I saw the Googly Ghouls stamp set, I knew how to decorate the frame.
Aren't they cute little Googly Ghouls!

A New Member in the Family

Meet Chewbaca
Our daughter Pam and granddaughter Sarah adopted this sweet one year old puppy last week. He was homeless wandering the country side. An animal shelter picked him up and saved his life. Chewbaca was so dirty, coat matted, and burs all over him. After a good hair cut, a nice warm bath, he looked so cute, Pam and Sarah could not resist him. He has been a member if their family for a week. He fits right in and it feels like he's been there from the start.

I'm spending the day stamping...I hope you can do some stamping too.

Look What I Did With Left Over Wooden Blocks

I had so much fun decorating all these blocks. They are decorated on the back too.
I used the 25 & Counting set for the fronts and Jolly Bingo Bits for the back.
I used a variety of card stock, designer series paper, ribbons and embellishments.
I have mine setting on our sofa table but they could be made into Christmas tree ornaments by adding cording around the blocks. The sides that curve in help keep the cording in place.
Don't forget to check out all the beautiful Holiday stamps and other products at my online store. www.janegiggy.stampinup.net

I have more projects to show you in the next few days. It's so nice to have a big variety of products to choose from.
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of my Advent decorations.

How to make 16 Christmas Cards Fast and Easy

I took one sheet of paper from Snow Festival Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Catalog p.10 that has 16 sections with different squares of Christmas images. When I first saw the paper, I knew I had to give it a try. The result? Sixteen Christmas cards. I did add card stock and embellishments.

Happy Friday..

Hope everyone will have a good week end. It's going to be 94 degrees here in Kalamazoo tomorrow. Our daughter Pam and granddaughter Sarah are having a yard sale. Hope the hot weather won't keep people from leaving their homes.

I'm still working on  getting an app. for photos and video's. This iPad is a little bit much for me. I'm learning but it will take some time. I love my iPad and iPhone though.
To top everything else, I had my hard drive changed on Wednesday but I still can't get my desk top to turn on and stay on. It must be something else besides the hard drive. I have a call into Office Max.
I wish I could add some photos. It seems strange to just write.
Yesterday our granddaughter, Olivia Fee's team won State Champions for Little League for girls 10 and 11.
The girls had a police and fire engine escort into Mattawan last night. I took a video with my iPad. Not too bad for a firt try.

Hopefully I will be able to post some photos here before the week-end is over.
